Current research interests & achievements
Interests: Our Group is interested in knowing how viral or viroidal RNAs move both at the intracellular as well at intercellular level. In addition we are interested in characterizing phloem RNA-binding proteins that could have a role in transporting viral and/or viroidal RNAs.
Achievements: 137 peer-reviewed international publications with >55 ISI papers within the Q1, total number of citations: >4.000, current h-index: 33; 18 externally funded research projects with a total volume of >5 Mio€; invited speaker at more than 40 occasions; member of the editorial board of three international scientific journals; reviewer for scientific journals and grant agencies on a regular basis; supervisor of >14 PhD and >30 diploma/bachelor/master theses;
